Occasionally, you might see a message about a failure to generate notes, or a blank page being generated. Here are some steps to get you unblocked.

Step 1: Use the retry button

If there’s a retry button, click that. It uses a different fallback method to connect to our LLMs, so should do the trick if the first attempt at generating notes failed.

Step 2: Manually regenerate

You can manually regenerate the notes by opening the notes dropdown menu and clicking ‘Regenerate’, or by selecting a template and clicking the regenerate icon that appears when hovering over the selected template.

Step 3: Check your transcript

Make sure to check if the transcript exists by looking at the transcript panel. If there’s no transcript, the note generation won’t have any content to work with.
