If your meetings involve a lot of company-specific jargon, you can boost the transcription accuracy of these terms by loading them into Granola before your meeting in Settings > Language. image.png This works best by defining words and phrases that you think the transcription might miss.

Examples

  • Blokk - could be mis-transcribed as block
  • Projekt DolFin - could be mis-transcribed as project dolphin
  • Tekto - could be mis-transcribed as tech toe
You don’t need to add your own company name or names of attendees of your meetings - but you might want to add any other people or company names that you might mention in your meetings.

How to use

Enter your words/phrases as a list, separated by commas, like this:
blokk, project dolfin, tekto

What won’t work

  • Blocks of text - each keyword is sent to the transcription model separately, so big sentences or paragraphs won’t be affected unless they are mentioned word-for-word during transcription
  • Acronym definitions - Granola will transcribe acronyms as they’re spoken, but can’t expand/define these in the transcript - but try asking Granola to define them during/after your meeting in the chat!
