Completing your profile

In Settings, click Edit profile at the top of the sidebar to add information about your job and give Granola extra context - this will improve the quality of your summarized notes, as it’ll help guide our AI models towards things that you might be interested in. image.png

Model training preferences

Granola uses anonymized data to train our models, so that we can improve the quality of Granola for everyone. We don’t allow any of our third-party providers like Anthropic or OpenAI to train their models using any of your data. You can opt out of this in Settings > Preferences > Data & sharing: image.png We don’t train on any data from our iOS app, so there isn’t currently a setting for this in the app. Once we do decide to train on this data, we’ll add a setting so you can opt-out.

Beta features

We sometimes have new features that need testing - if you’d like the opportunity to try these out, sign up for our beta channel in Settings > Labs! image.png If you run into any issues when using our beta release, email us at hey@granola.so. Not every app update contains new features - sometimes it’s just bug fixes and small tweaks to help us prepare for bigger updates. You can read more about our bigger releases in our changelog!
