Check you're logged in with the right email
If you have more than one Google or Microsoft account, you may have logged in with the wrong one. To verify which account you used with Granola:
- Check your inbox for emails from hey@granola.so
- The email address that received those messages is the one associated with your Granola account
- If you’re logged in with a different account, sign out and sign back in with the correct email
Check you're in the right workspace
Check you're in the right workspace
You might be viewing a different workspace than where your notes are stored.
- Click the workspace name in the bottom-left corner of the Granola app
- Look at the list of workspaces you belong to
- Switch to a different workspace to see if your notes are there
Check if you've been removed from a workspace
Check if you've been removed from a workspace
If someone removed you from a workspace, you lose access to all notes stored there — but the notes themselves are not deleted. To regain access, contact your workspace admin to request being re-added. Once re-added, all your notes will be visible again. See Workspaces for more details.
Check if the meeting was recorded
Check if the meeting was recorded
If specific meetings are missing rather than all your notes, the meeting may not have been recorded in the first place. Having Granola open or running in your menu bar does not mean it is recording — Granola only starts transcribing when you open a note for that meeting. This means clicking a notification, opening the meeting from your home screen, or starting a New Note. If none of these happened, the meeting was not captured and cannot be recovered. For more detail on how and when Granola begins recording, see How transcription works.
