# Cancelling your subscription

> Learn about Granola's flexible subscription cancellation policy and how you can cancel at any time.

## Granola Subscription Cancellation Policy

At Granola, we understand that flexibility is important to our subscribers. That's why we offer a straightforward cancellation policy.

### Cancel Anytime

You can cancel your Granola subscription at any time. Once you cancel, your subscription will continue until the end of the current billing cycle, which is the end of the month from your last payment date.

### How to Cancel

To cancel your subscription:

1. Go to **Settings > Billing**
2. Click **Manage subscription** to open Stripe's billing portal
3. Select **Cancel subscription** in the portal

Or, if you don't have access to the Granola app, you can [log in on the web](https://notes.granola.ai/settings/team-and-billing?tab=billing) to access Billing directly.

If you can no longer access your Granola account at all — for example, because you no longer have access to the email address tied to the account — contact us at [hey@granola.so](mailto:hey@granola.so).

### What Happens After Cancellation

After your subscription ends — or when a free trial expires without subscribing — your workspace is automatically moved to the Basic (free) plan. You will not be charged. You can continue using Granola on the free plan with some feature limitations.
