# Nonprofit program

  <Accordion title="What are the eligibility requirements?">
    This offer is for organizations that [Goodstack](https://help.goodstack.org/what-is-percents-verification-process) verifies as eligible nonprofits. In general, your organization should be recognized as charitable or nonprofit by the regulator where it is registered, operate on a not-for-profit basis, and operate for public benefit. Approved organizations receive 50% off the Business plan.

    Requirements vary by country. Goodstack guides you through verification and any documents needed for your location. Meeting the criteria does not guarantee approval.

  <Accordion title="How does validation work?">
    Granola uses Goodstack for nonprofit verification. Most applications take a few minutes. You may need proof that your organization is officially registered as a nonprofit, such as a registration certificate or tax exemption letter.

    If verification fails, contact [Goodstack support](https://help.goodstack.org/).

  <Accordion title="How long does the discount last?">
    The discount stays active while your organization remains an eligible nonprofit.

  <Accordion title="What happens once I'm approved?">
    After Goodstack approves your application, the 50% discount is linked to that email. Sign in to Granola with it, then open [**Settings > Billing**](https://grano.la/app?path=%2Fsettings%2Fbilling).

    If the workspace does not already have a paid subscription, a coupon is shown as available. Choose Business and complete checkout. The discount applies automatically. You do not enter a promo code.

  <Accordion title="Can I get a tax exemption?">
    The discount does not remove tax. Send your tax exemption certificate to [hey@granola.so](mailto:hey@granola.so). We'll apply the exemption to future invoices. Tax already charged is not refunded.

  <Accordion title="Can Granola connect to my other tools?">
    Yes. Granola connects to Notion, HubSpot, Affinity, Slack, and Zapier. See [Integrations](/help-center/sharing/integrations/integrations-with-granola).

    You can use Granola for any meeting, including board meetings, donor calls, grant reviews, program syncs, and volunteer coordination.
